Alcatel Flash 2 with 13MP camera, 4G LTE launched in India at Rs. 9299

In last 2-3 years or so Smartphone technology has been revolutionized, devices with 2GB RAM, 13/5 MP camera unit and good processor cost around 15-17k mark at that time. Now, you can get all this for just Rs. 6-10k and Xiaomi Redmi 2, Coolpad Dazen 1 and Micromax Yu Yuphoria are some of the great examples of it. Now, Alcatel has joined the bandwagon with the launch of Flash 2 at an affordable price of Rs. 9299.

It is the successor to the Alcatel which was launched in the country last year; the new Smartphone will go on sale via Flipkart from 27th October 2015. It will be available in volcanic grey color and registrations for the sale have already begun.

The Alcatel Flash 2 offers a curvy stance for better grip and flaunts a decent 5 inch HD display with 1280×720 resolution along with 294ppi of pixel density and 5-point multi touch capacitive touchscreen.

It comes powered with a 64 bit Mediatek MT6753 SOC with Mali-T720MP4 GPU clocked at 1.3GHz and has a 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM. For storage, it comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB by using a Micro SD card. The Alcatel Flash 2 is fitted with a 13MP rear camera with true tone LED flash, phase detection autofocus, 80 degree wide angle lens and f/2.0 aperture. On the front, it features a 5MP unit aided by f/2.2 aperture, soft LED flash and OV5648 1/4 sensor.

The Dual SIM device supports 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Micro USB and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n as connectivity options. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and fuelled by a 3000mah battery claims to deliver 10 hours of talktime and 350 hours of standby time.
