Alcatel Idol 4 with 3GB RAM, Android 6.0 launched in India for Rs.16999

The Alcatel Idol 4 Smartphone which was unveiled at the MWC 2016 alongside the Idol 4s has finally landed on Indian shores. The Smartphone is priced at Rs. 16999 and will be exclusively available from Flipkart in dark grey, metal silver and gold colors. The Idol 4 comes bundled with free JBL headphones and Ant-VR headset for 360-degree video and gaming experience. The boom key located on the right side of the device lets you access camera, gallery and other applications.

Coming to the specs, it comes with a 5.2 inch full HD LTPS display with 1920*1080 pixels of screen resolution and Precog UI. The Alcatel Idol 4 is backed by an Octa core Snapdragon 617 processor aided by 3GB RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. It has 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 512GB using a Micro SD card.

The Hybrid dual Sim powered Smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 on the first boot. In the optics segment, it bears a 13MP primary rear camera with dual tone LED flash, PDAF, EIS and f/2.0 aperture. Up front is an 8MP Selfie camera accompanied by Selfie flash, 84 degree wide angle lens and 1.12um pixel size. The camera also supports four real time beautification modes.

In the connectivity segment, it gets 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz), NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with A-GPS, USB OTG, Micro USB 2.0 and 3.5m headphone jack. The Alcatel idol 4 is fuelled by a 2600mah battery with quick charge 2.0 support. Besides, it also has features Dual stereo speakers and Smart PA (Power Amplifier). At tape, Idol 4 measures 147×72.5×7.1mm and weighs 135 grams.
