It is rumoured that HMD global is working upon to bring Nokia 1, the budget phone after the Nokia 2. It is said to be a part of the Google’s Android Go program which is supposed to launch in March 2018. On the other hand there are rumours that the Nokia 7 would also finally launch early next year with the much awaited updated version of Nokia 6. Google recently announced that it will partner with companies to bring numerous Android Oreo Go Edition phones soon. This is basically an OS for budget smartphones which have 512MB to 1GB of RAM..
This Nokia 1 smartphone is expected to run on Android Oreo (Go edition) which comes along with the lightweight Google apps such as Files Go, Google Maps Go, and YouTube Go. The Nokia 1 is expected to carry moreover the same specifications as that of the Nokia 2 which was launched recently.
This new smartphone might have an HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display.
It is rumoured to come with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
