Vivo has sent out the teaser invites for the launch of its new camera smartphone, the Vivo V9 in India on March 27. According to leaks, the phone is expected to be Vivo’s first smartphone to come with an iPhone X-like notch on the front and a full-view display giving it a near-bezel-less design. The teaser of the new device could be seen in Vivo’s Malaysia Twitter handle and Indonesia’s social media handles.
Not much is known about the internal specifications and other details but we expect to get its updates closer to the launch event. The Vivo V9 is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup and a 24 MP selfie camera. It is rumoured to come with iPhone X-like notch and a “FullView” display. Not only this, but the device is also said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor.
Vivo had earlier introduced a “FullView” concept smartphone called APEX. It has the world’s highest screen-to-body ratio and half-screen in-display fingerprint scanning technology as we saw at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona. The company had also launched its V7 with 24 MP selfie camera for 18990 INR back in 2017 and the V9 is to be its successor.
The Vivo V9 is said to be priced at 25000 INR.
