Vivo has announced to launch its new smartphone in India on 29th May. The device will be the ‘X’ series smartphone and is mostly expected to be the X21 that was introduced in China back in March. It has a under-display fingerprint sensor and the same was also launched in Singapore last week. Now the brand is all set to launch its new device in India but it’s not clear if the company is planning to bring both the standard version and the top-end version of the phone. The Vivo X21 packs a 6.28-inch Full HD+ 19:9 Super AMOLED display. The smartphone will be powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 660 AIE 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 512 GPU. The Hybrid dual SIM phone runs on Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo). On the connectivity front it will come with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and AK4376A Hi-Fi audio chip. Its dimensions are expected to measure 154.45 × 74.78 × 7.37mm and it is said to weigh 156.2g. The phone also possesses an in-display Fingerprint sensor.
The phone will have 12MP primary camera with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, and a secondary 5MP camera with f/2.4 aperture. On the front it gets a 12MP front-facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
On the battery front the Vivo phone has a 3200mAh (typical) battery with fast charging.
The storage options of the phone has 6GB RAM with 128GB internal memory that is expandable up to 256GB with micro SD card.
The 6GB RAM with 128GB storage is priced around 39,900 INR. We will know the price of the phone in India when it is launched later.
