CoolPad launched the “Cool Play 6” in India back in August and now its black version is on sale in the country. The Gold version went on sale last month. The phone had been launched in two colour variants that are Gentle Gold and Sheen Black. The price tag which the phone carries for its new on sale Sheen Black colour variant is Rs. 14,999 and can be purchased exclusively from Amazon.in. The phone comes geared with a metal uni-body and has a sophisticated appearance.
“Cool Play 6” – specifications have a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS screen and come powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 653 and mobile platform with Adreno 510 GPU. For the storage options, it has 6 GB RAM with 64 GB of internal memory.
Talking about the camera options the “Cool Play 6” has a 13 MP dual primary camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and PDAF. For the front camera, the smart phone carries an 8MP shooter, with f/2.2 aperture. This dual SIM phone (nano +nano) also possess a fingerprint sensor at the back. Coming to its operating system, the Cool Play 6 runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with Journey UI which can be upgraded to Android 8.0.
The connectivity options for the “Cool Play 6” have 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, and USB 2.0 type-C charger. For the battery, the smart phone packs a 4000mAh battery with it which can be kept on standby time up to 300hrs. The dimensions of CoolPad phone measures 152.4×75.2×8.45mm and its weight measures 175g.
