China based Smartphone Coolpad is known for making power pack affordable handsets. The brand has added another feather to its hat with the launch of Coolpad Note 5. The full metal unibody device is now the most affordable Smartphone to have 4GB RAM. It also packs with quite a few handful features such as fingerprint sensor claimed to unlock the device in 0.5 seconds and can also be used for clicking photos, opening up of apps and receive and record calls. There is a massive 4010mah battery on board. The device will be available via open sale from 20 October via Amazon India in space black and royal gold colors.
The Coolpad Note 5 has a full HD 5.5 inch display bearing pixel density of 401ppi and 78 percent screen to body ratio. The display is protected by scratch resistant glass. Under the hood is an Octa core Snapdragon 617 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz which is accompanied by meaty 4GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU.
The device has 32GB of in-built storage and supports expandable memory up to 64GB by inserting a Micro SD card. The Coolpad Note 5 runs on Android marshmallow 6.0 out of the box wrapped under Cool life UI 8.0 on top.
On the optics front, it is equipped with a 13 megapixel primary rear camera with 6P lens, enhanced flash and f/2.2 aperture. For Selfies, there is an 8MP front facing camera on board that also supports LED flash and 80.1 degree wide angle lens. Similar to Coolpad max, Note 5 has dual space feature which allow users to have two accounts on Facebook, Whatsapp, BBM in single Smartphone by BiLogin feature.
The dual SIM Phablet is loaded with 4G LTE, bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS and USB OTG. The massive removable 4010mah battery comes with quick charge support and offers standby time of 200 hours, 14 hours of talktime and standby time of 350 hours. Besides fingerprint sensor, it comes with accelerometer, light, proximity and geomagnetic sensors.
