HTC Desire 728 with Octa core processor, 4G LTE launched in India at Rs.17,990

After introducing the HTC One A9 in India last month, HTC today has launched its latest mid range device- the Desire 728 Dual SIM in India at price tag of Rs. 17,990. The Smartphone will be available via all major offline retailers across the country starting next week in Purple myst and white luxury color shades.

HTC desire 728 dual Sim houses a 5.5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixel resolution and it is fuelled by an Octa-Core Mediatek MT6753 64-bit processor clocked at 1.3GHz and supported by Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB RAM.

It bears a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 1080p video recording and BSI sensor. There is a 5-megapixel front facing camera featuring 1080p video recording and BSI sensor also on board. It runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with HTC’s own Sense UI on top of it.

It has dual front-facing BoomSound speakers and Dolby Audio for a great audio experience. The Smartphone measures 157.9×77.84×7.87mm and weighs 153 grams which is pretty decent for such a big device.

To keep things running, you get a 2800mAh battery that can deliver up to 21 hours of talk time and 485 hours of standby time on 3G network.  For connectivity, it offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS with A-GPS, bluetooth 4.1, Micro USB etc.
