HTC has revealed a new Smartphone in the desire series called desire 830, it will on sale in China from May 6, 2016 at US$310 (approx 20,500 INR). The company hasn’t disclosed about its global availability yet but we expect it to launch in India soon. The device is successor to desire 820 which was launched in 2014. The HTC desire 830 is available in White orange and blue white colors.
As far as specs goes, it comes with 5.5 inch display full HD IPS display with Corning gorilla glass protection. Powering it is a 64-bit Octa-core Mediatek Helio X10 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and paired with 3GB of RAM. It includes 32GB of in-built storage that is further expandable up to 128 GB using a Micro SD card.
The HTC desire 830 bears a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture, optical image stabilization (OIS) and 1080p video recording. For Selfies, it is equipped with a 4 ultra pixel front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It runs on Android Marshmallow with HTC latest version of sense UI on top.
The latest HTC desire Smartphone measures 157.5×78.9×7.79mm and aided by a 2800mah battery. In terms of connectivity, it offers 4G LTE, GPS/A-GPS, bluetooth 4.0, GLONASS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Micro USB etc. The highlight of the device is it featuring dual front speakers with Boomsound and Dolby audio.
