Honor’s latest offering Honor 7 has been launched in India for Rs. 22,999 for the 16GB variant while the prices for 32GB and 64GB are still known yet. The Smartphone will be available via e-commerce website Flipkart starting 15th October in Fantasy Silver and Mystery Gray color variants. Honor has had a mix time in Indian market with Honor 6, Honor 4X and 6 plus and still looking to find its root in the country.
It sports a 5.2-inch full HD display with screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and pixel density of 423ppi. The device packs an Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 935 processor (four cortex A53 2.2GHz + four cortex A53 1.5GHz) assisted with ARM’s Mali-T628 MP4 GPU and 3GB RAM.
The handset boasts 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable to 128GB via a Micro SD card. The Honor 7 runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) out of the box wrapped under emotion UI 3.1 and it is expected to get Marshmallow 6.0 update by early next year.
The Honor 7 crafts with a 20-megapixel rear camera which features a Sony IMX230 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 6-lens module, dual-LED flash and sapphire glass protection on top. The primary camera also comes with phase detection autofocus which claims to deliver autofocus in 0.1 seconds. There is also an 8MP front-facing camera on board that features a front-facing flash module, 26-mm wide-angle lens with an f/2.4 aperture.
In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WI-Fi 802.11 a/b/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, 3.5mm audio jack and GPS. It packs a 3100mAh battery with quick charging feature that enables Smartphone to charge from zero to full within 1 hour 25 minutes, and zero to 50 percent in just half an hour.
It also comes with Smart Sense feature with a Smart Key on the left side of the device which lets you access your most used applications.
