The Bangalore, India based startup ‘CREO’ has made its debut in the country by launching its first Smartphone Mark 1. Priced at Rs. 19,999 it will be available Creosense official website and Flipkart in Gunmetal grey color. The highlight of the device is its fuel OS which is customized version of Android Marshmallow and features Sense, Echo and retriever functions. According to the company it will receive update every month.

The USP of the device is a massive 5.5 inch Quad HD display featuring 1440*2560 pixels of display resolution and pixel density of 535ppi. The front and rear of the device is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla glass 3. It is powered by a 1.95GHz Octa Core Mediatek Helio X10 MT6995 processor with powerVR G6200 GPU and matched by meaty 3GB of RAM.

The device comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded by 128GB using a Micro SD card. The CREO Mark 1 sports a 21MP camera at rear supporting dual LED flash, Sony IMX230 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF (phase detection auto focus). The camera is also capable of 4k video recording and 120fps slow motion at 1080p.

For Selfie and video calling, it boasts 8MP front snapper with live photo, 86 degree wide angle lens, F/2.0 aperture and 1080p video [email protected] The handset is about 190 grams in weight and measures 155.4 x 76.1 x 8.7mm. The connectivity options on the device include dual SIM slot (Hybrid), 4G LTE, dual band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, bluetooth 4.0LE, GPS, GLONASS and USB 2.0. A3100mah battery completes the package.

The users can engrave their message on the sides of their phone while ordering and for first 2000 customers will get engraving for no cost. Overall, the device seems to be overpriced considering it’s a new company, no Snapdragon SOC sub 20k device and reliability is hit or miss.
