The bookings for Jio phone starts Thursday evening from 5.30 pm, and the 4G phone will be handed over to the consumers from September as per first come first serve basis. The Jio phone was unveiled at the 40th AGM last month. The 4G phone will be available for booking through MyJio app and by jio.com online and also by authorized Reliance Jio offline retailers. This first Jio branded phone will come pre-loaded with apps like JioCinema, JioTv and JioMusic along with other social networking apps.
Jio is providing this phone for almost free as you just have to make a refundable deposit of Rs. 1500 for purchasing this phone. Rs. 500 has to be paid at the time your booking and the balance deposit of Rs.1000 has to be paid at the time of delivery. This phone has been launched with keeping the 2G handset users in mind and for connecting them with Jio as well as you can return the phone after 36 months of usage and you security money of Rs.1500 will be refunded.
For specifications, the phone comes in black color with a battery capacity of 2000 mAh. For display it has 2.40 inch screen (240 X 320 pixels) and for camera it has 2 megapixel rear camera. It has 4GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 128 GB with micro SD card and runs on 1.2 GHz dual core processor with 512MB RAM. For connectivity the phone offers Bluetooth 4.10, Wi-Fi and GPS and has 1 GSM SIM slot.

- Click pre-booking
- Then enter your phone number and the pin-code of the place you want the phone to be dropped
- Click proceed
- Here you will be shown with multiple payment options, so choose yours
- On your successful payment, you will be shown a confirmation screen with an authentication message on your mobile.
