The Indian handset maker Karbonn has launched its Karbonn Frames S9 in India. It had earlier launched the Titanium Frames S7, a camera centric smartphone back in January. Now, the company has moved ahead and expanded its Frames series by coming up with the launch of Karbonn Frames S9. This new budget smartphone flaunts dual selfie cameras as its USP. On the display front, the Karbonn Frames S9 comes with a 5.2-inch IPS display bearing a screen resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. It also has a 2.5D curved glass on top. Performance wise the the smartphone is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core processor. The device runs Android Nougat out of the box and possesses a fingerprint scanner for security.
In terms of camera it comes paired with a pair of 8-MP shooters on the front and an 8-MP primary camera at back.
The Karbonn Frames S9 is backed by 2,900mAh battery.
The phone comes with 16GB storage, that can be further expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card.
Karbonn is offering the handset in black, champagne and grey hues.
The Frames S9 is available on Flipkart, Amazon and other retail stores and is priced at 6,790 INR. For introductory offer, the handset gets Airtel cashback offer worth 2,000 INR. Customers will get 500 INR after recharges worth 3,500 INR in the first 18 months of purchase, and 1,500 INR after recharges worth another 3,500 INR over next 18 months.
