Samsung has launched its Galaxy J8 in India that is the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘J Series’. The phone gets Samsung’s own UI and the much discussed face unlock feature. We bring you the detailed updates of the J8 by Samsung, have a look:
The Galaxy J8 packs a 6-inch (1480 x 720 pixels) HD+ Super AMOLED 18.5: 9 Infinity 2.5D curved glass display. On the processor front the Galaxy J8 gets a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 506 GPU. The dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) OS and possesses an oval fingerprint sensor at the back for security unlock. The connectivity options that the device has are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, ANT+, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM Radio.
The optics of the Galaxy J8 consists of a 16MP primary camera with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, and a secondary 5MP camera with f/1.9 aperture. For the front camera it has a 16MP front-facing shooter with LED flash, and f/1.9 aperture.
The device is backed by a 3500mAh battery.
The storage options the Galaxy J8 has are 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and an expandable memory up to 256GB with micro SD card.
The color options the Galaxy j8 comes in are Black, Gold and Blue.
The Samsung Galaxy J8 is priced at 18,990 INR and will be available from July.
