Vivo has launched the company’s latest mid-range device that is the Vivo Y83 in India. It is launched in the Y-series in the country which was earlier introduced in China. Vivo Y83 is the world’s first smartphone to be powered by MediaTek’s latest Helio P22 Octa-Core 12nm SoC. Check out the detailed specifications of the device
The Vivo Y83 packs a 6.22-inch HD+ 19:9 IPS 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. On the processor front, it is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P22 12nm processor with 650MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The dual SIM phone possesses a fingerprint sensor at the back. It gets a Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo). Its connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, and GPS. The phone’s dimension measure 155.21x 75.24 x 7.7mm and it weighs 151g.
The phone gets 13MP primary camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. On the front it gets an 8MP front-facing shooter with f/2.2 aperture.
The phone comes backed by a 3260mAh battery.
The storage options include 4GB RAM with 32GB internal memory and an expandable memory up to 256 GB with micro SD card.
The Vivo Y83 is available in Black colour.
