A new Lava Smartphone P7+ has been officially launched in India, priced at Rs. 5649. It is the successor to the P7 which was launched in January this year at Rs. 5499. The P7+ is available in two colors- Gold and grey and comes with range of hardware and software upgrades over its predecessor. The device is listed on company’s website but there is no information regarding its availability.
The P7+ sports a 5 inch HD display thereby offering screen resolution of 1280*720 pixels and pixel density of 294ppi. The new version forgoes the Corning Gorilla glass which was present on Lava P7 but gets 2.5D curved glass on top. At its heart we find a 1.3 GHz Quad core processor linked with 1GB of RAM.
Running Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box the Smartphone bears an 8MP autofocus rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera with both supporting LED flash. The primary supports HDR, photo timer and HD video recording while front camera gets 84 degree wide angle lens which let user to click groupie.
The in-built storage of the Smartphone stands at 8GB which is further extendable up to 64GB using a Micro SD card. It offers dual Sim with dual standby, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB 2.0, GPRS/EDGE, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. Measuring 143.5×71.8×8.9mm, it packs with a 2500mah Li-polymer battery. Other noteworthy features on board are smart gestures, Pic focus, sound picture, intelligent Selfie and Night pro mode.
