Lava V2s with HD display, 4G LTE launched in India for Rs. 7899

Lava has expanded the V series line up by launching the V2s in India at a price tag of Rs. 7899. The Smartphone is available via Amazon India, Indiatimes and other leading retailers in Mirror black and white color shade. The Lava V2s is the successor of Pixel V2 launched in September 2015 at Rs. 10,750.

Coming to the specifications, it flaunts a 5 inch HD IPS display with 1280*720 of pixels resolution. It is backed by a 1GHz Quad Core Mediatek MT6735 processor assisted with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and Mali-T720GPU.

The internal storage is limited to 8GB while V2 had 16GB though you can further extend it up to 32GB using a Micro SD card. In the camera segment, it bears an 8 Megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and 8 MP front facing camera with LED flash.

The Dual Sim device runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box and it will get a Marshmallow update in the future. In terms of connectivity, it includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, bluetooth 4.0, 3G HSPA+, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 142x71x8mm and weighs 127 grams.
