Lenovo A7000 India Launch Expected on 7th April 2015

It seems Lenovo is gearing up for the launch of its new Smartphone A7000 on 7th April in India at the Dolby Atoms Theater. The company has sent out invites for the event teasing Dolby atoms technology and claiming that it is the first phone to feature Dolby atoms sound.

It was initially unveiled at MWC 2015 at the price of $169 (approx 10,000 INR); it is the successor of Lenovo A6000.

The Lenovo A7000 swanks a 5.5 inch HD screen with 720×1280 resolution, powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa core Mediatek processor with 16 Core Mali-T760 GPU and paired to 2GB RAM.

The dual SIM handset also sports 8GB internal memory which can be expanded via micro SD card slot.

Connectivity options on the A7000 include LTE, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, Micro USB and Bluetooth. Lenovo A7000 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

The device measure 152.6×76.2×7.99mm with the 140 grams weight and it is backed up by 2900mah battery.

Lenovo A7000 boasts an 8 megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash and a 5 megapixel front facing camera and will be available in Onyx black, Pearl white and laser Yellow color variants.
