As promised, Lenovo has launched Vibe K5 Note in India, company’s latest device in the vibe series and successor to the K4 note launched earlier this year. The Smartphone is priced at Rs. 11,999 for the 3GB RAM version and Rs. 13,499 for the 4GB RAM variant. The K5 note will be available to buy via Flipkart in an open sale format from Wednesday 11:59 PM IST onwards.
It sports an all metal body with secure zone feature which allows you to install two illustrations of an app at same device. It sports premium all metal body and sports a 5.5 inch full HD IPS display bearing 1920*1080 pixels of screen resolution, 178 degree wide angle lens and pixel density of 401ppi. Much like previous Vibe K series, it is also powered by Mediatek processor.
The Vibe K5 note utilizes a 1.8 GHz Octa Core Mediatek Helio P10 processor clubbed with 3GB or 4GB RAM and 550MHz Mali T860 GPU. In-built memory on board is 32GB which is extendable up to 128GB by inserting a Micro SD card.
For photography, it offers a 13 Megapixel primary rear snapper with dual tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and phone detection autofocus (PDAF). At front is an 8 Megapixel front facing camera supporting 77.4 degree wide angle lens. It runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 wrapped under company’s Vibe UI on top.
It supports dual Nano Sim cards and offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n ac, GPS, bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, USB OTG and FM radio. A beefy 3500mah battery with fast charging support completes the package and it is claimed to deliver up to 543 hours of standby time and 34 hours of talktime.
The company also announced the TheaterMax technology and AntVR headset for the Vibe K5 at Rs. 599 and Rs. 1299 respectively. Other Gizmos include Gaming bundle including Amkette Gamepad Pro 2 and Ant VR headset for Rs. 1999. Users will also get exchange offers at Flipkart along with a flat 25 percent off coupon code on Myntra.
