LG at the India Mobile Congress 2017 in New Delhi launched the LG K7i for Rs. 7990. It has the new Mosquito Away Technology which would help to keep away the mosquitoes by creating ultrasonic noise which is inaudible to human beings. The phone is given a cover which has a separate hardware build into it for keeping you safe from mosquitoes. Not only this, it also comes with a Mosquito Away Stand. LG claims to bring the first phone with this technology in the world and you will also be given a normal back cover on the purchase of this smartphone. The LG7i comes in Brown color and can be purchased from retail stores across India.
LG K7i’s specifications have a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) On-cell Touch IPS display screen and is powered by 1.1 GHz quad-core processor. This dual SIM smartphone runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and also has a fingerprint sensor.
For optics the smartphone has 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing shooter. The LG K7i sports 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32 GB with micro SD card.
The LG K7i’s connectivity options have 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, Micro-USB, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and GPS. The smartphone comes packed with a 2500 mAh removable battery. Talking of dimensions it is 145.7 x 74.1 x 8.1 mm and weighs 138 grams.
LG has not come up with this technology the first time as it has also launched its TV series in India with the same technology of being mosquito repellent.
