LG V20 with dual rear cameras, Snapdragon 820 launched in India at Rs. 54999

Besides flagship G5, we haven’t witnessed any interesting launch from LG this year and that too turned out to be average performer due to unconventional design and steep price. The company has introduced V20 in September for selected markets which has been finally launched in India. Priced at Rs. 54,999 V20 was the first Smartphone features Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box.

LG V20, successor to the V10 will be available via major brick-and-mortar stores across the country and exclusively on Amazon India. The Smartphone is being offered in silver, Titan and play variants. It is also first Smartphone to sport feature a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC. It comes bundled with a free B&O play headset worth Rs. 18,000, there an exchange offers where customers can exchange their old Smartphone and get minimum assured up to 20,000 (valid for selected Smartphones). LG will also be offering a Free SF coated back cover.

The highlight of the device is dual primary rear cameras and dual displays. The Smartphone has a metal finish and removable back panel made of thin aluminum sheet. LG V20 sports a 5.7 inch quad HD IPS quantum display with pixel density of 513ppi and a 2.1 inch IPS secondary display with 160 x 1040 pixels resolution.

On performance term, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clubbed with 4GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. It comes with 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 2TB using a Micro SD card.

As said, there are two camera set up at rear which includes a 16MP autofocus unit accompanied by dual LED flash, laser AF, PDAF, OIS, 75 degree wide angle lens, 4k video recording and Qualcomm’s Steady Record 2.0 with EIS 3.0. The secondary unit is an 8MP fixed focus rear unit with 135 degree wide angle lens and f/2.4 aperture for capturing wide shots. Up front is a 5 megapixel front facing camera with f/1.9 aperture. The device also boasts a fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button.

For connectivity, LG V20 supports 4G VoLTE, dual band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC, bluetooth 4.2 LE, infrared and USB OTG.  It is fuelled by a 3200mah battery with quick charge 3.0 technology. Besides fingerprint, other sensors on board are ambient light, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity and magnetometer sensor. The Smartphone measures 159.7 x 78.1 x 7.6mm and weighs 174 grams.
