LYF F8 with VoLTE, Android Marshmallow launched in India at Rs. 4199

Continuing its launch spree in India, Reliance retail has rolled out its new Smartphone in the F series called LYF F8. Priced at Rs. 4199, F8 is similar to the recently launch Flame 8 but the new one runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 as compared to Lollipop 5.1. Like other LYF devices, it has dual Sim and 4G LTE and VoLTE support. LYF F8 will be available via Reliance Digital and other stores across the country in black and blue colors. Additionally, the phone comes bundled with one year extended warranty.

Coming to the specs, LYF F8 flaunts a 4.5-inch FWVGA display which is protected with a layer of Asahi Dragontrail glass. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC, linked to 1GB of RAM and Adreno 304 graphics. There is 8GB of in-built storage on board which can be further increased up to 128GB using a Micro SD card.

The Dual Sim phone packs with an 8MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP Selfie camera. The rear camera supports Red Eye Reduction, Panorama, Video HDR supported in code, Auto Frame Rate, Smile Detection, Blink Detection, Gaze detection and Continuous Auto Focus.

Besides dual Sim and VoLTE, connectivity options include bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio. A 2000mah battery completes the package which claims to deliver up to 8 hours of talktime and up to 160 hours of standby time.
