Reliance retail has launched its new Smartphone Lyf wind 2 in India featuring a big display and VoLTE support. The Successor of wind 1 is priced at Rs. 8299 and will be available from Reliance and other retail stores across India in Gold color. The company is trying hard to stay in the competition by rolling out new devices in frequent intervals.
Apart from the biggest LYF device, Wind 2 is also the first to features BeSurround, BesLoudness technology which enhances the audio quality.
Flaunting a metal unibody design, wind 2 has a 6 inch HD IPS display with pixel density of 294ppi and screen resolution of 1280*720 pixels. Powering it is a 1.0 GHz quad core MTK 6735M processor aided by 2GB of RAM and MaliT720-Mp1@ 600 MHz for graphics support. It still runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
The camera department embraces with a 8MP rear camera LED, HD video recording and 4X zoom, and a 2MP front facing camera. The rear camera boasts range of features such as auto scene detection, auto focus, face detection, multi angle view mode, gesture capture, Snapshot and smile shot.
The Smartphone offers 16GB of internal memory which can be further expandable up to 32GB via a Micro SD card. The device supports hybrid dual Sim slot along with standard connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 4G VoLTE, GPS, bluetooth 4.1, Micro USB 2.0, FM radio and 3.5mm jack.
A 2850mah battery keeps the phone running claims to deliver up to 9 hours of talktime and up to 190 hours of standby time. The sensor list includes proximity, accelerometer and light sensor.
