Meizu makes India debut with M1 Note; to sell via Amazon from 20th May

Another Chinese Smartphone maker Meizu is all set to enter Indian market and has announced it first Phone for the market. Meizu will launch M1 Note on 20th May in India via Amazon India from 2 PM onwards and it’s not a flash sale so you don’t need to pre-register yourself for the sale.

M1 Note is a dual SIM Phablet that features a 5.5 inch 1920 x 1080 display with a Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection and pixel density of 403 ppi.

Powering the M1 Note is a 1.7 GHz Octa Core Mediatek MT6752 processor that comes with 2GB RAM and Mali T760 MP2 GPU. In China Phone is available in 16 GB and 32GB non expandable internal storage variants but it’s not clear that the Meizu will launch both the variants in India.

A 13 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5 Megapixel front facing camera handles the photography department of the Phablet. The Phablet runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat with Flyme OS 4.0 version on top.

In terms of connectivity Meizu M1 note supports LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB and GLONASS.

There is a 3140 battery to support the device and can deliver up to 40 hours of talktime on 3G networks and 12 Hours of 4G browsing.

Meizu M1 note looks like Apple 5C and it is available in Pick, blue, yellow, green and white colors in its home country China. Meizu has imported around 3000 units of M1 note in while and 1000 units in blue color variant for the Indian market.

The company hasn’t announced the price yet but it is expected to be priced around Rs. 10,000 and will take on the likes of Xiaomi Mi 4i, Asus Zenfone 2 etc.
