Micromax has launched another Smartphone in the Unite series, the Canvas Unite 4 plus featuring fingerprint sensor placed at home button. It is priced at Rs. 7999 and available at retail stores across India in Champagne, Silver and grey colors. In addition, it runs on Indus 2.0 and supports 12 regional Indian languages. Apart from RAM and memory differences, Canvas Unite 4 Plus is similar to its predecessor.
Coming to the specs, it has a 5 inch HD IPS display and powered by a 1 GHz Quad core Mediatek MT6735P processor mated with 2GB RAM (while previous GEN had 1GB) and Mali –T720 GPU. It comes with 16GB internal memory while Unite 4 had 8GB; the phone supports expandable memory up to 64GB by simply inserting a Micro SD card.
It sports an 8MP rear primary camera and 5MP front facing camera with getting LED flash support. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, bluetooth 4.0, GPS, bluetooth 4.1, 3.5mm jack, Micro USB 2.0, and FM radio.
The device has range of pre-loaded apps such as Quikr, OperaMini, Scandid, Amazon shop, Gaana, Hike, Milive, Ixigo cab, Swiftkey, Snapdeal, wallet, Skype, travel, Monster truck saga, Temple run paradise and services like Micromax backup and reset, MMX setup wizard, analytics and recommended apps.
Apart from regional language support, it also has Indus reader and text to speed feature that allow users to translate text into six different Indian languages: Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali and Telugu.
