Moto Z2 Force with Snapdragon 835, Shatterproof Display and Dual Rear Cameras Revealed

Lenovo Owned Motorola has launched its new flagship Moto Z2 Force at its #hellomotoworld event. The company has also revealed 360 degree camera Moto mod which is priced at Rs. $299.99 and will be available from August 10. The Smartphone has been launched in US at $799.99 without contract and comes with a free Moto Instra share projector. It will be available for pre-order from T-mobile, AT&T, US Cellular, Verizon, Best Buy and Motorola. It will be soon launched in Africa, Middle East and Europe.

As for the specs, Moto Z2 Force flaunts a 5.5 inch QHD AMOLED ShatterShield, shatterproof display with screen resolution of 2560*1440 pixels. Powering it is a Quad core Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 2.35 GHz clubbed with 4GB RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. It has 64GB of on board storage which can be further expandable up to 2TB using a Micro SD card.

Following the trend, it comes with dual rear camera set up with two 12MP units, one for monochrome and other for color and enhanced depth of creating Bokeh effect. The rear camera supports depth detection, dual LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, laser auto focus and Zero shutter lag. At front, there’s a 5MP front facing camera with dual LED flash, 85 degree wide angle lens and f/2.2 aperture.

It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and it is upgradable to Android O. The phone comes with fingerprint sensor with gesture feature. On the connectivity front, it supports Dual Sim (in some regions), 4G VoLTE, NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz with MIMO, GPS/A-GPS. It also comes with fingerprint sensor and water repellent nano coating. It measures 76 x 155.8 x 6.1 mm and weighs 143 grams.
