After days of teasing and lots of speculations, Motorola has finally launched the fourth generation of G series Smartphones in two variants- Moto G4 and G4 plus. Both the Smartphones will be sold exclusively via Amazon India comes in black and white color shades. The G4 plus will be sold at a price of Rs. 13,499 for the 2GB RAM/16GB variant and Rs. 14,499 for the 3GB RAM/32GB version while the price of G4 will be disclosed next month. Both the devices are similar in terms of design and have textured back finish for the firm grip, the specs also similar apart from slight differences.
The G4 Plus sports fingerprint sensor on the home button which is capable of unlocking the device in 750 milliseconds and can accept up to five fingerprints. Both are powered by a 3000mah battery with turbo charging support which offers 6 hours of talktime in just 15 minutes of charging. In addition the Moto G4 and G4 plus comes with water repellent Nano coating.
Motorola Moto G4
The G4 sports a 5.5 inch full HD display with pixel density of 401ppi and screen resolution of 1080*1920 pixels. It is fuelled by a 1.5 GHz Octa Core Snapdragon 617 (MSM8952) processor with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. For photography, it comes with a 13MP primary laser autofocus snapper with dual tone LED flash, and a 5-megapixel secondary shooter with 84 degree wide angle lens.
It runs on Marshmallow 6.0.1 wrapped under Moto pure Software giving you the stock Android experience and for connectivity it offers 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n (2.4 and 5 GHz), Micro USB, bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 153×76.6×7.9 mm to 9.8 mm and weighs 157 grams.
Motorola Moto G4 Plus
The Moto G4 Plus sports the same 5.5-inch full HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and pixel density of 401ppi. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 617 Octa Core processor clocked at 1.8GHz and aided by Adreno 405. The Smartphone comes in two variants- 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage. The device bears comparatively better cameras of 16MP autofocus unit at rear with dual LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, Omni Vision sensor and Phase Detection Auto-focus support. For Selfie lovers, it is equipped with 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture, Omni Vision OV5693 sensor and 84-degree wide-angle lens.
The battery stands at 3000mah with turbo charging feature and connectivity options are similar to Moto G4.
