Motorola has finally launched its much awaited flagship Smartphone Moto X Force with Shatter Shield display in India. The device will available via Amazon and Flipkart and other retail outlets in Black color from 8th February 2016 with an initial price of Rs. 49,999 for the 32GB variant and Rs. 53,999 for the 64GB variant. The Moto X force was first unveiled in October last year with a different badge Motorola Droid Turbo 2 for the international markets.
The biggest highlight of Moto X force is off course its Shatter proof display which is made out of rigid aluminium and Motorola claims that the handset won’t break even when dropped on the concrete floor. The Smartphone flaunts a 5.4 inch QUAD HD AMOLED display with Moto Shatter shield, 2560 x 1440 resolution and pixel density of 540ppi.
Powering X force is a meaty 2.0GHz Octa Core Snapdragon 810 processor assisted by 3GB RAM and Adreno [email protected] MHz GPU. Apart from 32GB and 64GB internal storage, it also supports expandable memory option up to 2TB via Micro SD card.
For imaging, it comes with 21MP rear camera with Dual tone LED CCT flash, 4k, slow mo video recording capability and f/2.0 aperture same as Moto X play and X style. For Selfie freaks, a 5MP front snapper with 1.4 um pixel, 87 degree wide angle lens, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash for better image quality.
Motorola X Force currently runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and it is going to get Marshmallow update soon. There’s a massive 3760mah battery on board that can deliver up to 2 days of battery life on mixed usage and supports Qi wireless charging.
Despite of aluminum body and meaty battery, the handset just weighs 169 grams and 9.2mm thick. It features with Single SIM slot and supports connectivity such as 4G LTE, NFC, GLONASS, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2.4GHz with MIMO, GPS/A-GPS.
