Motorola Moto X style which was globally revealed in July 2015 is all set to hit Indian shores on 8th October 2015. The online retail partner of the company, Flipkart has released a teaser on its website mentioning “Get ready to live life to the fullest & party in 15 minutes flat with the Moto X style”. The device was launched in USA at a price of ($399) for 16GB variant and the expected price of Moto X style in India around Rs. 25,000.
The teaser page however, has not mentioned anything else about the Smartphone’s price, exact availability date or variants. Though, interested users can leave behind their information like email IDs to get notified about the update.
In terms of specs, the Moto X style flaunts a 5.7 inch QHD display with 1440×2560 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz Hexa core Snapdragon 808 processor with Adreno 418 GPU to take care of the graphics department.
The device has a 3GB of RAM and it will come with three storage options- 16GB, 32GB and 64GB with memory expandable slot supporting 128GB with a Micro SD card. The handset runs on Android Lollipop 5.1.1 and it is upgradeable to Marshmallow 6.0 in future.
The Motorola Moto X style weighs 179 grams and measures 153.9 x 76.2 x 6.1mm. On the camera front, you get the same 21MP rear camera along with a 5MP front snapper seen on recently launched Moto X play.
It also comes with company’s Turbo Power 25 technology for faster charging and water-repellent Nano-coating (IP52 rated). The Moto X Style supports 4G LTE, 3G, dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, bluetooth 4.0 LE, GLONASS, NFC and GPS. It is fuelled by a 3000mah battery which is lower than that of Moto X play’s 3630mah.
The Smartphone is expected to come in white and black color variants with lots of customization options.
