A series of Nokia Smartphones were unveiled last month and Nokia 3 was first to go on sale in India. Now, it’s turn for Nokia 5 to hit Indian shores at Rs. 12,499 and it is available in offline retail stores across India in Matte Black, Silver, Tempered Blue and Copper colours. As expected, it comes with some introductory offers such as Rs. 2500 off on Makemytrip.com and 5GB data per [email protected] 149 for 3 months for Vodafone customers. Moreover, Nokia 6 which is scheduled to launch on 23rd August has got over 1 million registrations.
As for the specs, Nokia 5 has a 5.2 inch HD display with screen resolution of 720*1280 pixels and 2.5D sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass. Under the hood is a 1.4 GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clubbed with 2GB RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB using a Micro SD card.
Coming to the optics, the device bears a 13MP primary rear camera with dual tone LED flash, 1.12um pixel size and f/2.0 aperture. For Selfies, it sports an 8MP autofocus front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture and 84-degree wide-angle lens.
The dual SIM runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1 out of the box. For connectivity, it offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, Micro USB 2.0, FM radio and 3.5mm audio jack. The device takes juice from an inbuilt 3000mah battery. Sensors include Accelerometer (G-sensor), e-compass, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor and Hall sensor. The handset measures 149.7 x 72.5 x 8.05 mm.
