Nokia 8 with Snapdragon 835, 24MP camera, 6GB RAM leaked

HMD global has started sending invites for a press event at MWC 2017 on 26th February, where Nokia is all set to reveal its new range of Smartphones. Nokia 6 has already been unveiled which will be sold in China from January 19, 2017, the mid-range device has received a whopping response in the form of 5 lakh registrations for the first flash sale. Weeks before its event, brand’s rumoured flagship model Nokia 8 has emerged online.

Nokia recently showcased a new device called supreme which could be launched as Nokia 8 at MWC 2017. The alleged Nokia 8 is rumoured to come in two variants– the base variant could have Snapdragon 821 processor up its leaf with 4GB RAM. The top spec variant is likely to house a Snapdragon 835 Soc coupled with 6GB RAM. It also expected to bear 24MP rear camera with both OIS and EIS and 12MP front facing camera.

The Smartphone is likely to come with dual front speakers, Carl Zeiss optics and heart rate monitor (HRM). The flagship would be available in 64GB and 128GB storage versions with memory expansion support up to 256GB via a Micro SD card. Nokia 8 will run on the latest version of Android Nougat. We have to wait for official announcements as all these were rumoured news.

HMD global has already unveiled Nokia 6 that features a 5.5 inch full HD AMOLED display and powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 430 Soc linked with 4GB RAM. Camera department includes a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front facing camera. It runs on Android Nougat 7.0 and backed by a 3000mah battery. Exclusive for the Chinese market, Nokia 6 might be launched in India by H2 2017 at Rs. 9999 though some reports suggest that it might be priced at Rs. 16,999.
