Obi Worldphone has also joined the ever so competitive Indian Smartphone market with the launch of SF1 in the country. Designed by San Francisco based studio Ammunition, the device will be available from 7th December 2015 exclusively on NDTV Gadgets360 and registrations for the sale are now open. Obi mobiles, backed by former Apple CEO John Sculley revealed two Smartphones- SF1 and SJ1.5 in august earlier this year.
The device is available in two variants- 2GB RAM with 16GB internal memory and 3GB with 32GB of in-built storage with both supporting expandable memory by up to 64GB via a Micro SD card.
In terms of specs, it offers a 5 inch JDI In-cell full HD IPS floating glass display with Corning gorilla glass 4 protection 1920×1080 pixel resolution, oleophobic coating and 443ppi of pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa Core Snapdragon 615 SOC with an Adreno 405 GPU.
It features a decent 13MP automatic autofocus rear snapper with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and Sony IMX214 sensor. At front, you get 5MP shooter with an LED flash for crisper and sharper Selfies. It comes with Dual SIM slots with one being used as a Hybrid slot (Micro/Nano Sim+ Micro SD card), dual microphones with noise cancellation feature, Quick charge 1.0 for fast charging and Dolby audio.
It is fuelled by a 3000mah Li-Po battery which is rated to produce stand by time of up to 20 days and talktime of up to 23 hours. It sports accelerometer, Magnetic, Proximity, Gyro and Ambient Light Sensor. Connectivity features of the device include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (Dual band) and GPS/GLONASS.
