Oppo has launched an upgraded version of its Selfie centric Smartphone F1s in India. The new version has 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage as compared to 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM on the previous version which was launched in August this year. The upgraded version is priced at Rs. 18,990 which is just Rs. 1000 more than the 3GB version and it comes in gold and grey color choices.
The new Avatar will be available on all Oppo stores Pan India from 26th November, 2016. For the online shopping freaks, it can be grabbed exclusively via Amazon India from December 2016 onwards. Apart from RAM and in-built storage nothing has changed at all on fresher version. In addition, as a part of Doctor strange movie first 50,000 buyers of the device will be limited edition Doctor strange back cover.
As for the specifications, Oppo F1s comes with a 5.5 inch HD IPS TFT display with coning gorilla glass 4 protection. Under the skin is the same Octa-core Mediatek (MT6750) processor clocked at 1.5GHz along with Mali T860 GPU and 4GB RAM. The memory can be further extended up to 128GB by inserting a Micro SD card.
Oppo is touting F1s as Selfie expert as Smartphone features a 16 megapixel front shooter which comes with f/2.0 aperture, 5P lens, Selfie panorama, beautify 4.0 and range of filters support. The primary camera holds a 13MP unit accompanied by LED flash, PDAF and f/2.2 aperture. On the software front, it runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 wrapped under Color OS 3.1 on top.
Oppo F1s supports tri slots (two for Sim and one Micro SD card), 4G LTE, bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, Micro USB 2.0, 3.5mm audio and USB OTG as connectivity options. It sports a fingerprint sensor integrated at home button which claims to unlock the device in 0.2 seconds. It draws power from a non removable 3075mah battery which can deliver up to 14 hours of talktime.
