Oppo launched its latest selfie-focused camera phone named Oppo F5. The new smartphone comes with A.I. beauty recognition technology and also offers bokeh effect. The phone also comes with the new face unlock feature. The color options available for the Oppo F5 smartphone are Gold and Black for the 4GB and 32 GB storage versions while it is priced at Rs. 19,990. For the 6 GB and 64 GB storage versions it gives you black and red color options and costs Rs. 24,999 for this upgraded version. It has been launched while its F5 6 GB variant and F5 youth will be revealed later. The phone will also be available in international markets like Russia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam etc. The 4GB RAM version of the F5 will be available from November 9th while the 6 GB RAM version will be available from 2nd December onwards.
The new Oppo F5 has a 6-inch (2160 × 1080 pixels) 18:9 FHD+ full-screen 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection given. Talking of its processor it has a 2.5GHz Octa-Core MT6763T Media Tek Helio P23 16nm processor along with 800MHz ARM Mali G71 MP2 GPU. The phone will be available in two versions that are a 4GB RAM with 32GB storage version and a 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version. These storage options can be expanded further up to 256 GB with micro SD card.
The optics of the phone gives a 16MP primary camera with LED flash, and f/1.8 aperture. The back camera supports 20MP front-facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture, and sensor. The Oppo F5 having unibody metal design has dual SIM facility and possess a fingerprint sensor as well. The smartphone runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) with Color OS 3.2.
Lastly, the connectivity options of the Oppo F5 have 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 2.4/5GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack, OTG and micro USB 2.0. It comes backed with a 3200mAh in-built battery. The dimension of the Oppo F5 smartphone measures 156.5 x 76 x 7.5mm and it is 152g in weight.
