Tizen OS based Samsung Z2 launched in India at Rs. 4590

At special event in Delhi, Samsung has launched its fourth Tizen OS based Smartphone in India. The device is named as Z2 and cost at Rs. 4590; it will be available via Paytm.com and Samsung retail stores across the country from 29th August 2016. It is bundled with Reliance Jio preview offer that allows access to unlimited data, calling along with Jio apps and services like Jio on demand and Jio beats for 3 months. It comes in Wine Red, Gold and black color variants.

As for the specs, the Z2 flaunts a 4 inch WVGA TFT display featuring 480*800 pixels of screen resolution. The device draws power from a 1.5 GHz quad core processor matched with 1GB of RAM and bears 8GB of internal memory which is further expandable via Micro SD card up to 128GB.

Samsung Z2 Overall

It is equipped with a 5MP primary rear camera that supports LED flash and VGA front facing camera for Selfies. It runs on Tizen OS 2.4 which enables users to unlock their device via gesture control. The Z2 is first Tizen device to sport Smart tutor app with personal assistant, S-Bike mode and ultra data saving mode claims to save up to 40% data.

It supports 4G with VoLTE along with dual Sim, bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, USB OTG and GPS. The Z2 takes it juice from a 1500mah battery that’s rated to deliver up to 8 hours of browsing time on 4G network.
