Panasonic Eluga I2 Activ with Android 7.0 Nougat launched in India

Panasonic launched its new reasonably priced phone on Wednesday in India- the Eluga I2 Active. With the launch of this phone, the company has added two new smart phones in its Eluga series the other one is Eluga A3 Dua. The phone offers 4G VoLTE support and has been launched in two variants 1 GB RAM priced at RS 7,190 & 2 GB RAM priced at RS 7,990.

If we look at the specification the phone has an HD-display of 5 inches with 720×1280 pixels of screen resolution. It is power-driven by a Quad-Core Mediatek MT-6737 processor clubbed with 1GB/2GB RAM and Mali T 720 GPU. It has a 16 GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB via micro SD card. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

As for the camera department, Panasonic Eluga I1 Activ offers 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera along with flash and 5-megapixel front camera. List of connectivity options offered by the phone are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, Micro-USB and GPS/ A-GPS. It has the accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The phone runs on 2200mAh battery and weighs 143×71.2×7.95 and 133 grams.

On the launch Pankaj Rana, Business Head commented: With the launch of Eluga I2 Activ, we aim to object users who wish to own stylish and selfie camera- specific smart phones. The phone comes with 5.0 inch HD display which can be easily carried in your pocket. A recent study by Counterpoints Research acknowledged that nearly 33% of users prioritize a better selfie camera or fingerprint sensor for their next smart phone purchase.
