Panasonic P50 Idol and P65 Flash with 8MP rear camera launched in India

Panasonic has launched two affordable Smartphones- P 50 Idol and P65 in India ahead of the upcoming festive season. P50 Idol is the affordable one among the two priced at Rs. 6790 while P65 Flash cost Rs. 8290. The former comes in Fabric Silver and Fabric Gold color while P65 Flash is available in Metallic gold and metallic silver color shades.

Despite of their different pricing range, both comes with some similar specs like both features an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording capabilities and a 2MP front snapper. The devices are powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad core processor coupled to a 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory.

Panasonic P 50 Idol and P65 Flash also come with a memory card slot to further expand the storage up to 32GB using a Micro SD card. Even connectivity options are same on both as they support 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, Dual SIM configurations and Micro USB. The handsets run on Android Lollipop 5.1.

However, two Smartphones also have some differences in display and Battery. P50 Idol sports a 5 inch HD IPS display and 2150mah battery; on the contrary P65 flash flaunts a bigger 5.5 inch HD IPS display along with 2910mah of better battery.

The P50 Idol measures 142×71.5×8.7mm and weighs 139 grams. On the other hand, P65 Flash weighs 168 grams and measures 151×77.8×8.95mm.
