Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 with S bike mode launched in India at Rs. 8990

Samsung today has launched a new Smartphone for the Indian market called J3 at Rs. 8990. The talking point about the device is S bike mode which is basically let bikers to concentrate on road while driving without getting disturbed by the notifications. The J3 2016 version comes in white, gold and black colors and it is available via Snapdeal from today onwards.

The handset has a 5 inch HD Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 Pixels of display resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad core Spreadtrum SC9830 64-bit processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM and Mali-400 GPU. The handset packs 8GB of internal memory which can be further expandable up to 128GB using a Micro SD card.

The J3 runs on Android Lollipop out of the box wrapped under Samsung Touchviz on top.  In the camera segment, it features an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front facing camera. The handset measures 142.3 x 71x 7.9mm and weighs 138 grams. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual Sim support, GPS, bluetooth 4.1, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, USB OTG, 3G HSPA+ and FM radio.

The J3 is backed by a 2600mah battery which is claimed to deliver 22 hours of talktime and 349 hours of standby time.
