Smartron t.Phone with 4GB RAM, Launched for Rs. 22999

Smartron, an Indian startup has launched its first Smartphone t.Phone in India who is revealed by Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar who is also the brand Ambassador of the company. The device is priced at Rs. 22,999 and will go on sale in early next month via Smartron t.store and Gadgets 360. It comes in Metallic Pink, Classic Grey, Sunrise Orange and Steel Blue. The company also launched t.book hybrid laptop in March this year.

The handset has a 5.5 inch full HD AMOLED display bearing screen resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels and pixels density of 401ppi. It is also said to have apical assertive display technology for better view ability in the sunlight. Under the hood is an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and Adreno 430 GPU.

For memory, it comes with 64GB of internal storage which can be increased up to 128GB using a Micro SD card. It bears a 13-megapixel rear camera with a dual-LED flash, an Isocell sensor f/2.0 aperture and 6P lens. While the front camera is a 4-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture and 2-micron pixel size for better low-light performance.

The Hybrid Dual Sim powered device runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box. In terms of connectivity it has 4G LTE with VoLTE, bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C, dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz). The company is touting it as the lightest 5.5inh device as it weighs 149 grams. The t.Phone takes its juice from a 3000mah battery which comes with Qualcomm’s Quick charge 2.0 support.
