Sony Xperia XZs with Motion Eye Camera, Water Resistant launched in India for Rs 49,990

After showcasing at MWC 2017 Sony has launched its new flagship Xperia XZs, the successor of last year XZ in India. It is priced at Rs. 49,990 and comes in Ice Blue, Warm Silver and Black colours. The pre-order for the XZs will begin tomorrow at Flipkart and select Sony retail stores before it goes on sale starting April 11. Those who pre-book will get Sony XB-10 wireless speakers worth Rs. 4,990 for free.

The highlight of the device includes a 19 MP motion eye camera with Predictive Capture, Anti-distortion shutter, 5-axis image stabilisation, 960 fps super slow motion videos, Exmor RS memory stacked sensor, Triple image sensing technology and the powerhouse Snapdragon 820 processor.

The Xperia XZs flaunts a 5.2 inch full HD display with 1920*1080 pixels and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clubbed with 4GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. It is available in 32GB and 64GB storage options which can be further expanded up to 256GB using a Micro SD card.

Besides, the primary camera it also holds a 13MP front facing the camera with Exmor RS sensor f/2.2 aperture and 22mm wide angle lens. The Smartphone also has the IP65/68 rating for dust and water resistance. It runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1 on its first boot.

In terms of connectivity, it offers Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, GPS+ GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC. Fuelling it is a 2900mAh battery with hybrid charging and Quick Charge 3.0 support. The device measures 146x72x8.1 mm and weighs 161 grams. Other noteworthy features include LDAC, DSEE HX, Digital Noise Cancelling, Clear Audio+ and Stereo speakers with S-Force Front Surround.
