Sony Xperia Z4 Announced Sports 5.2 inch Full HD display, 3GB RAM and a Metal Frame

It’s been a pretty horrid time for Sony with the reports of the company shutting down the Smartphone segment soon but overcoming the rumors Sony has launched the Xperia Z4 in Japan. It took a while for Sony to launch Z4 but it’s better to late than never.

Sony Xperia Z4 features a 5.2 inch Triluminos display with X-reality engine and 600cd brightness similar to Z3. Sony Xperia Z4 comes with a 64 bit Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and Adreno 430 GPU.  Sony Xperia Z4 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

It is coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB via a micro SD card.  Xperia Z4 is using the same 20.7 Megapixel rear camera with Exmos RS sensor and 4K video recording while front side has a 5.1 MP camera with wide angle lens.

The camera also features Geo-tagging, Smile shots, digital stabilization; touch focus, HDR, panorama, digital zoom, digital stabilization and cooking mode.

The Smartphone is 6.9mm thin about 0.4mm thinner than Z3 and weights 144 grams which is 8 grams less than Z3. The phone is backed up by a 2930mah battery that comes with stamina mode and gives up to 17 hours of 3G talktime.

Sony Xperia supports connectivity options such as LTE support, 3G HSPA+, bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5 GHz) MIMO, GLONASS, NFC, Micro USB 2.0, Wi-Fi direct, 3.5mm audio jack etc.

Sony Xperia Z4 will arrive in white, black, copper and Aqua green colors. There’s no mention of pricing and availability as yet.
