TCL Pride T500L with 4G LTE, 13MP camera, Iris Scanner launched in India at Rs. 10,499

Another Chinese company TCL Pride has made its way to the Indian shores with the launch of T500L. The Smartphone is available at a price of Rs. 10,499 and exclusively available via e-commerce website Snapdeal. The USP of the device is inclusion of retina scanner which allows users to unlock their device after front camera validates user’s Retina. For those uninformed, TCL is the parent company of Alcatel one touch.

The company advertizes T500L as India’s first Smartphone to sport this IRIS scanner. It features a 5 inch full HD IPS display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution, 441 ppi of pixel density and 95 percent color gamut ratio. Under the hood is a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon Octa core 615 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz with support to Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB on internal storage on offer with an option of storage expansion up to 32GB via Micro SD card.

The camera segment features a 13MP autofocus primary rear camera with LED flash, EIS (electronic image stabilization), 5P lens and Sony Exmor RS sensor. It runs of stock Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. It also bears 8MP front facing camera with LED flash and 88 degree wide angle lens.

The dual SIM capable handset packs in with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GPS/A-GPS, Micro USB and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n as connectivity options. It is fuelled by a 3000mah battery that can easily last a day on a mix to heavy usage.

The TCL Pride T500L comes in White color and packs in with decent specs to take on the like of Motorola Moto G 3rd GEN, Micromax Canvas 5 and Xiaomi Mi 4i.
