Tizen OS based Samsung Z3 launched in India; priced at Rs. 8490

Samsung Today launched its third Tizen OS based Smartphone, named as Z3 it is priced at Rs. 8490INR. The Smartphone will go on sale via e-commerce giant Snapdeal and offline retail stores starting 21st October 2015. It will be available in company’s conventional Gold, Silver and white color variants.

The Samsung Z3 features a 5 inch HD Super AMOLED display and runs on Tizen v 2.4. Powering a 1.3 GHz Quad core Spreadtrum SC7730S processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The Smartphone includes an 8GB on internal storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB via Micro SD card.

For photography, it sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and f.2/2 aperture and there is also a 5MP front snapper supporting beauty face mode and automatic Selfie, f/2.2 aperture and 120 degree wide angle lens. Connectivity options on Z3 include 3G, Micro-USB, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS with A-GPS.

It measures 141.6x70x7.9mm and weighs 137 grams. Samsung has partnered with Vodafone for 1GB data plan free per month for two months and it also Sports Company’s Mix Radio music app, which offers 35 million songs including 10 genres of Indian music.

It is backed by 2600mAh battery with Ultra Power Saving Mode software which provides standby time of up to 33 hours with less than 10% of battery life.
