Videocon Cube 3 with SOS, 3GB RAM launched in India at Rs. 8499

Videocon Mobiles has launched made in India Cube 3 (V50JL), the company’s latest 4G Smartphone in the new Cube series which is accompanied by mandatory panic button. It has been priced at Rs. 8499 and available to buy via offline stores across the country. It comes with SOS-Be safe app which uses power button as panic button and sends an alert and GPS location to predefined numbers in emergency situations. Further, company has also announced to introduce panic button across its entire range soon.

As for the specifications, Videocon cube 3 flaunts a 5 inch HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display with Dragontail glass on top. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad core Mediatek MT675 64-processor clubbed with 3GB RAM and Mali- T720 GPU. It boats 32GB of internal storage which is further expandable via Micro SD card slot.

It features a 13 MP rear camera with dual LED flash, PDAF and a 5 Megapixel front facing camera with LED flash for Selfies and video calling. The Smartphone runs on Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box while there is no update on Nougat 7.0.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, GPS/A-GPS and Micro USB. The device takes its juice from a 3000mah battery.
