Videocon mobiles have expanded its 4G enabled device portfolio in India with the launch of Z55 Krypton. The Smartphone comes with almost similar set of specs as Z55 Delite and Z55 dash albeit better cameras. The Z55 Krypton comes with 90 day free subscription to company’s own V-secure antivirus app along with V-safe app made for emergency situations.
The Infinium Z55 has a 5 inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels and Dragon trail X anti-scratch glass to protect the screen. The handset is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad core Mediatek 64-bit processor with Mali T720GPU, matched with 1GB of RAM. It bears 8GB of internal storage with a further expandable option of up to 32GB via Micro SD card.
For imaging, there is a 13 megapixel autofocus rear camera with Corning gorilla glass protection and Smile shot, face detection, Panorama, HD features, a 5-megapixel front facing camera is also on board. It runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box making it first Videocon 4G device to have that feature. It also includes accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
The Dual Sim device supports 4G LTE (TD-LTE 2300MHz (Band 40) and FDD-LTE 1800MHz (Band 3), bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, FM radio as connectivity options.
