Videocon Z55 with Octa Core processor launched in India at Rs. 6490

Videocon has introduced a new budget Smartphone called Z55 Dash in India and it is first device to be completely designed and assembled at company’s local manufacturing facility in the country. The device will be available in black with gold and white with silver color variants via e commerce site Flipkart at a price of Rs. 6490.

It comes with some handy specs for a budget Smartphone; it has a 5 inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, Dragontrail X glass protection and anti-fingerprint coating. A 1.4GHz Octa processor powers the device with the support of 1GB RAM.

It comes with 8GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a Micro SD card. It runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat which nowadays considered as outdated as most new Smartphones are arriving with Android lollipop.

On photography front, you get 8 megapixel autofocus rear shooter with LED flash and a 5megapixel front facing camera for Selfies. The phone is fueled by a 2200mah battery.

Besides, dual SIM connectivity, it supports 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio as connectivity options. The phone also comes with a 90-day subscription to the antivirus software V-Secure and personal safety app, V-Safe.
