The Chinese tech Giant Xiaomi has launched a new variant of Mi Max called Prime which was initially launched in June this year. The Mi Max prime will go on sale as a part of brand’s Diwali sale starting from 17th of this month at Mi.com. Priced at Rs. 19,999, the new variant comes with upgraded processor and more RAM support. The brand has announced a three day fest starting 17th October where it will offer discounts, special offers, flash sales and some products for Re. 1.
Most of the specifications are similar to Mi max; it flaunts big 6.44 inch full HD IPS display offering pixel density of 326ppi, 450nit high brightness and 1920*1020 pixels of screen resolution. The screen also supports Sunlight display, reading mode, night display and color temperature adjustment. To save display from scratches, it is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Inside it is an Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset clubbed with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. It sports 128GB of internal storage which can be further doubled up with the help of a Micro SD card. It runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box accompanied by MIUI 8 on top.
And in the camera department, it bears a 16MP primary rear shooter with two tone LED flash, PDAF, 5p lens, HDR, panorama, face recognition and real time filters. Up front is a 5MP Selfie camera with 85 degree wide angle lens and 36 beautify profiles. The fingerprint sensor is placed at metal back of the Phablet just below primary camera.
It packs with conventional connectivity features like 4G, VoLTE, hybrid dual Sim slot, Micro USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS with GLONASS, FM radio with recording feature and bluetooth 4.2. One of the highlights of Mi Max is its huge 4850mah non removable battery which supports Qualcomm quick charge technology.
