The new mobile giant in the making ‘Xiaomi’ has taken the cover off from its new flagship MI note and MI note pro at the event taken place in the Beijing which aims to take on Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and I-phone 6 Plus. New MI note has 5.7 inch Quad-HD display screen with Gorilla glass 3 safety. MI has become a very popular company in India due to this budget phones loaded with tons of premium and handsome features.
MI Note pro is powered by a Octa core Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno CPU supported by 4GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage and LTE cat-9 connectivity for up to 450 mbps downlink speeds. MI note features 2.5D curved glass and 3D curved glass for rear side with dimensions of 155.1×77.6×6.95mm and it weighs 161 gm and well supported by 3000mAh battery. MI Note will run on MIUI on Android 4.4 Kitkat while Note Pro runs on Android 5.0 lollipop.
For photo freaks it has a 13 megapixel rear and 4 MP front facing camera for great quality Selfie and it uses Sony’s s CMOS sensor. According Xiaomi MI note has dual tone flash developed by Philips for greater quality and natural looking photos.
It supports some premium features such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi direct, bluetooth 4.1, GPS , Standalone sound processor mobile Hi-fi edition which supports various formats such as APE, WAV, FLAC etc and it improves sound quality also.
MI note is going to be the most expensive offering from Xiaomi MI note is priced at US$ 370 approx (22,900 INR) for 16GB variant, 451$ (Rs. 28,000 INR) for 32GB variant while Note Pro will cost 533$ (Rs. 33,000 INR) and it is available in white color.
MI note will be available from 27th January 2015 in China for which pre-orders will begin from 20th January 2015. There is no official news about its global roll out yet but Mi note will be available in Singapore from Quarter 2 and in India it might launch later but we expect Xiaomi to launch MI 4 first followed by these new note range.
