Xiaomi will launch a 32GB version of its successful Mi 4i in India tomorrow to commemorate company’s first year in the country. And to mark the day, Xiaomi might launch several new products along with promotional offers. The company has released an image which contains some match sticks and depicts it as move to double; the matchsticks are arranged in a format of 16.
Just to remind you, Mi 4i sports a 5 inch Concore IPS display with pixel resolution of 1920×1080 and pixel density of 441 ppi. The device is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and features Sunlight display function which help in adjusting the display under sunlight.
Mi 4i is powered by a 2nd GEN 1.7GHz 64-bit Octa Core Snapdragon 615 processor along with Adreno 405 GPU and paired to 2GB RAM. The device has a 32GB internal storage in place of 16 GB with no expandable memory slot.
Mi 4i 32GB also runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop based MIUI 6 and supports six Indian languages and visual IVR.
The Smartphones comes with a 13MP rear camera with dual tone flash, f/2.0 aperture, a 5 element lens. There is a 5MP front facing camera to complete the camera package.
Mi 4i would take its juice from a 3120mah battery that comes with a quick charge technology which can charge battery up to 40% in 1 hour and 100% in 3 hours. Connectivity options on Mi 4i include dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac 3G, 4G with both supporting LTE network, Bluetooth 4.1, USB, GPS/GLONASS, and Wi-Fi direct.
Xiaomi VP Hugo Barra has also given a hint about the launch of the Mi Water purifier, which will be company’s first home appliance in India.
