Yu Yuphoria launched in India at Rs. 6999, will go on sale from 28th May

Micromax’s parent brand YU has finally launched its second Smartphone in India named as ’Yuphoria’ priced at Rs. 6999. The device comes in Buffed steel with black colors and Champagne gold with while colors and will go on sale on Amazon.in via flash sales and registration starts today.

The Smartphone has a metal frame manufactured via array of processes to make the device more durable. Yuphoria sports an 5 inch HD fully laminated HD display with corning gorilla glass 3 protection and 720×1080 of pixels resolution.

The Smartphone has a 67 percent screen to body ratio and it 3 times scratch resistant. Under the hood is a 64 bit 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 2GB RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. It also gets 16 GB in-built storage with an option to expand it via Micro SD card.

Yu Yuphoria runs on Android Lollipop based Cyanogen Mod 12 OS and comes with app themer that allows a user to customize the display of the device.

Yu Yuphoria supports all the connectivity you would expect from a flagship device such as dual SIM with dual standby, 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n etc.

The device features an 8 megapixel primary/rear camera with LED flash, 1080p video recording, Omni vision sensor with f2.2 aperture while there is a 5MP front snapper with 4P lenses, 86 degree wide angle lens and f/2.0 aperture.

The device weighs just 143 grams and it is 8.25mm thick, and a 2230mah battery completes the package. Yu Yuphoria comes across as a major rival to Redmi 2, Moto E (2nd GEN) and Lenovo A6000 plus.
